Who's smarter now?

The competition, which was held over two days, was divided into four topic categories.

Mustafa Hingora, a student of Business at American University of Sharjah, bagged the first prize in the topic category of urbanisation. He beat eleven other teams in his topic category to win the first prize for his outstanding 12-minute presentation. The competition also required submission of an extensive research paper. The Aus EEG Research team comprised of Huma Tariq, Nazia Mahboob, Faiza Hayee and Noreen Fatoo. Working together with experienced professors, Dr Sarah Shono and Dr Mohamed Abouleish, they conducted extensive research and prepared a comprehensive view of urbanisation and its effects on the environment.
