In a city like Dubai, one has never been shy about displaying its wealth but Desi Bling turns that dial all the way up. Netflix’s newest reality series takes viewers inside the tightly knit, high-gloss world of the city’s ultra-wealthy Indian elite, where business empires, family legacies and social standing collide — often over diamond-studded dinner tables.

Slated to release in 2026, Desi Bling builds on the voyeuristic appeal of Dubai Bling, but sharpens its focus. This time, the spotlight is firmly on desi power players who’ve made Dubai both their playground and their building ground.

So, who’s in the show?

At the heart of the show is Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of the Danube Group. A familiar face in Dubai’s business circles, Sajan represents the old-school ambition of a self-made billionaire.

Alongside him is son Adel Sajan, positioned as the next-generation heir navigating legacy, with wife Sana Sajan playing a visible role in shaping the family’s public image.

Equally commanding is Satish Sanpal, a nightlife and hospitality entrepreneur whose unapologetic relationship with money sets the tone early on. His wife, Tabinda Sanpal, completes the power-couple equation, embodying the show’s central theme.

The social currency players

Every elite ecosystem needs connectors, and Desi Bling has no shortage of them. Dyuti Parruck, known as Dubai’s “Golden Visa guy”, moves between boardrooms and brunches. The fashion-and-influence segment includes Pamala Serena and Iryna Kinakh, whose presence keeps the show visually aspirational, while Janvee Gaur operates as the social glue linking rival circles.

Then come the social media-famous Mirza twins — Alizey Mirza and Lailli Mirza — bringing a distinctly Gen-Z lens to the mix.

The celebrity disruptors

Adding an outsider’s gaze are Indian television stars Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash. Entering the social circle, the real-life couple becomes a catalyst to the narrative and their presence offers viewers a familiar entry point into an otherwise insular universe.

Produced by Different Productions, the series thrives on the tension between old money and new fame, inherited power and self-made clout. It also taps into Dubai’s vast Indian diaspora — one of the city’s most influential communities — without filters. So far, this is all we can gauge from the first teaser, with more details expected to emerge as the release date approaches.
