The epic journey of Ramayana: Part 1, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has officially reached a major milestone. After months of intensive filming, the mythological blockbuster has wrapped production, marking the end of an emotional and transformative chapter for the cast and crew. A behind-the-scenes video from the final day on set has surfaced on social media, offering fans a rare and touching glimpse of lead star Ranbir Kapoor’s heartfelt gratitude and camaraderie with his co-stars.

In the viral video clip, Ranbir—who essays the iconic role of Lord Ram—addresses the entire unit during the wrap ceremony. Surrounded by cast and crew members, including Ravi Dubey (who plays Lakshman), the actor is seen delivering an emotional speech in which he expresses deep appreciation for the people who brought the ambitious project to life, allowing him to portray what he says is the "most significant role of his career".

He extended a special thanks to his co-stars—Sai Pallavi, Yash, Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol, Kajal Aggarwal, and Lara Dutta—for their contribution to what he described as a “once-in-a-lifetime” cinematic experience.

Another video shared from the set captures the celebratory mood as the team cuts a giant cake to mark the completion of shooting. Director Nitesh Tiwari also addressed the unit with an emotional speech, drawing enthusiastic applause and cheers.

With Ramayana, Tiwari is helming one of the most ambitious Indian film projects ever made. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast: Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as the formidable Ravana, Sunny Deol as the mighty Hanuman, Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari, and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi. The project is being backed by Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG, ensuring a visual spectacle of global standards.

Slated for a grand theatrical release during Diwali 2026, Ramayana: Part 1 will be followed by Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
