The actress shared images of the ceremony on her Instagram handle on December 1; the two have collaborated on multiple projects in the recent past

Ending months of speculation, Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu—best known for her roles in the Tamil movies 'Super Deluxe', 'Kaththi' and 'Theri' and the Telugu flicks 'Rangasthalam', 'Attarintiki Daredi', among others—got married to director Raj Nidimoru.
The actress shared images of the ceremony on her Instagram handle on December 1. The marriage, according to the news website NDTV, took place at the Linga Bhairavi Temple in the Isha Foundation in the south Indian city of Coimbatore.
In the pictures, Samantha can be seen wearing a red-coloured saree, while Raj donned a white kurta-pyjama coupled with a beige jacket.
Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya, the son of Telugu superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni. Their marriage ended in 2021. Chaitanya eventually got married to actress Sobhita Dhulipala late last year. Nidimoru too separated from his wife Shhyamali De in 2022.
Samantha and Raj were reportedly in a relationship since 2024, with the former featuring pictures of them together on her Instagram, including those of a visit to Detroit for a function.
All along, the duo didn't make their relationship official and remained tight-lipped about it.
Samantha and Raj have collaborated on several projects together. She starred in a pivotal role in the second season of the web series The Family Man, co-created by Raj. She played the lead in the Indian adaptation of Prime Video's action drama series Citadel, named Citadel: Honey Bunny, co-directed by Raj.
The wedding, Screen magazine quoted a source as saying, was a low-key affair and was attended by about 30 guests and close relatives.
Samantha was last seen in the 2023 Telugu film Kushi, opposite Vijay Deverakonda, and Citadel: Honey Bunny a year later. She produced the Telugu horror comedy Subham, which released earlier this year, and will also appear in the web series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, which is helmed by the director duo Raj and DK.
