After years of speculation and public fascination, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are officially set to tie the knot. The popular on-screen pair, who became one of Telugu cinema’s most adored duos, will reportedly get married on February 26 in Udaipur, in what sources describe as an extremely private and intimate ceremony.

The couple will exchange vows on February 26, with celebrations beginning on February 24. The wedding will take place in Udaipur, Rajasthan, a city often dubbed India’s wedding capital thanks to its palatial venues and royal charm.

However, unlike grand celebrity weddings that dominate social media for weeks, Rashmika and Vijay are taking a different route: low-key and deeply personal.

Strict no-phone policy, private guest list

One of the most talked-about aspects of the wedding is the strict no-phone policy. Indain media cited sources close to the couple, saying that no guest will be allowed to carry phones into the ceremony. The official photography and videography team has also signed non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), leaving no room for live updates, leaks, or behind-the-scenes glimpses from the event.

No actors or film industry colleagues have been invited. The guest list includes only immediate family and a handful of extremely close friends.

The couple has also embraced tradition in the lead-up to the big day. Two separate pre-wedding ceremonies have already taken place; one hosted by Rashmika’s maternal relatives at her home, and another organised by Vijay’s family.

In another detail, Rashmika and Vijay have personally handwritten notes to friends requesting no gifts, asking only for blessings.

Despite their packed schedules across multiple film industries, both actors have been actively involved in planning their wedding. Sources confirm that both have taken a month off after the wedding, allowing them to spend quality time together before returning to professional commitments.

While the wedding itself will remain private, fans and industry colleagues won’t be completely left out. A larger reception is reportedly scheduled for March 4 in Hyderabad, where friends and members of the film fraternity are expected to attend.
