Pakistani celebrities react to India's 'Operation Sindoor'

Pakistani celebrities condemned the late night strikes by Indian armed forces on specific sites in the south Asian country on Wednesday.

This operation, launched by the Indian Army in the early hours of Wednesday, was in response to the attack on April 22, in which terrorists killed 26 people.

Actress Mahira Khan reposted a tweet by the writer Fatima Bhutto on Instagram, and called it "cowardly".

Actor Fawad Khan, who has also starred in Bollywood productions in the past, offered his condolences to the people who had lost their lives.

He also urged that peace be given a chance.
