Pakistani actor Humaira Asghar Ali found dead in Karachi home

Pakistani actor Humaira Asghar Ali was found dead in her home on Tuesday, local news reports said.
Speaking to media, Karachi Police said that the actor had been living alone in her flat, located in DHA Phase 4 for the last seven years.

The actor had reportedly not paid rent since April 2024, and the owners had filed a case against her, the police added. Her lifeless body was fount by a court-appointed bailiff.
Initial investigations reveal that the actor died of natural causes, however, a post-mortem report will be conducted to help draw a clearer picture of the events that led to her demise.

She gained fame in the fashion industry through campaigns with top designers and brands, and was a finalist in Veet Miss Super Model 2014. On television, she appeared in dramas like Laali and gained mainstream recognition through ARY Digital’s reality show Tamasha Ghar.
She also starred in films such as Jalaibee (2015) and Love Vaccine (2021), and was honored with the National Woman Leadership Award in 2023 for her contributions to the arts.
