Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim opens up on second marriage, ex-wife fires back
Wasim has announced his second marriage months after separation from his first spouse, explaining why he chose to do so

Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim—who represented his country in 55 one-day internationals and 75 T20 internationals—has announced his second marriage months after separation from his first spouse, explaining why he chose to do so.
"I went through one of the hardest chapters of my life after a marriage that did not work," the cricketer, who has played for T20 leagues around the world, including Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, Islamabad United, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and Dhaka Falcons, wrote in a post on Instagram.

"Even so, that chapter gave me the greatest blessings of my life, my children. I have stayed longer than I should have, holding on to hope and trying to protect what matted most to me," he said.
Wasim and Sannia Ashfaq got married in 2019 and share three children, a daughter and two sons. Wasim had announced his divorce from Ashfaq in December last year.
"With the grace of Allah and the guidance of my parents, I have now married Nyla," he said, referring to Nyla Raja, a social media influencer.
Soon after the post dropped online, the all-rounder's former wife fired back. In a no holds barred post, Ashfaq posted a video of Wasim's wedding, captioning it: "Now everyone has seen the proof (of) this homewrecker... the cheater has been finally exposed."
She demanded justice for her children and for "everything we've been put through".
In another post, Ashfaq claimed that Wasim got her child aborted in Lahore in December 2023, of which she claimed to have proof. "He’s a murderer, and I have a video that proves it. He cheated on me. @islamabadunitedpsl has given a chance to a murderer and a cheater," she wrote, tagging the Pakistan Super League team of which Wasim is a part of.
According to The Siasat Daily, a video of Wasim and Raja in London did the rounds on social media last year around the time Ashfaq was pregnant for the third time. Soon after, Wasim confirmed that he filed for divorce from Ashfaq.
