Dubai’s surf season is in full swing and thousands are taking to the waves for the ESSA Sunset Open competition.

Thousands of local surfers are lining up along the shore of Sunset Beach as they compete for glory in the fifth installment of the popular contest that will run until March 14.

Visiting crowds will have more than surfing to enjoy with live music on offer in addition to an interactive art installation where visitors can help create a mural.
