Kajol’s big loss is Kareena's gain

Kajol being talented and successful got away with murder literally. She was rude, ill mannered, insulting but being the great actress that she is with that gorgeous smile and face, people forgave her everything. She was also lucky to be a part of a powerful camp in the industry, that of Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan. For Kajol to make derogatory remarks and hurt people around her is nothing new. How can one blame her? She has never been taught otherwise and no one has had the guts to correct her. Chatting with the Shah Rukh group and making fun of all those around her was a regular pastime. It was Ajay who tried to put a stop to all this as he is not particularly fond of the group.

Now that Nysa has grown up and Kajol has more time on her hands, she was very keen on taking up some good projects. When Rajkumar Hirani approached her she was very excited about doing a film with this Munnabhai director. She met him to listen to the script and was very excited about doing another film with Aamir.

But her latest remark has cost her a good film. Rajkumar Hirani felt really insulted when Kajol made it public by asking Shah Rukh, “who is this Hirani and is he any good as a director!” This must have been her idea of being cute or funny but it did not go down well with Hirani. He was even more annoyed when she lied and said, that she hasn't read the script and will consider the film after she reads the script.

Not one to succumb to a star, Hirani immediately decided to approach Kareena for this role. Kareena who is out to rule the industry had a hush-hush meeting with Hirani and is desperately trying to juggle her dates as she is more than keen on doing this film. After all, it has been her dream to act opposite Aamir Khan. And who wouldn't want to work in a film of Hirani after all his Munnabhai hits. Kareena has five big films this year including Sajid Nadiadwala's Kambakht Ishq opposite Akshay Kumar and has a huge deal with TV18. A film with Aamir will be a feather in her cap. The last time Aamir and Kareena were to work together was in Mani Ratnam's Lajjo but the film got scrapped.

This film Idiots is based on Chetan Bhagat's Five Point Someone and deals with the story of three IIT students. It is reported that Hirani has also approached John Abraham, Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan for other roles in the film.

Sad that her arrogant remarks have lost Kajol a role she was very keen on doing. That too, opposite Taare Zameen Par's Aamir Khan.
