Beauty mogul and founder of Huda Beauty, Huda Kattan, shared a message of reflection and gratitude with her millions of Instagram followers on March 4, saying that recent events in the region have reminded many people how fortunate they are to live in a place where they feel safe.
In an Instagram story, Kattan said the past few days had been a “humbling reminder” that security is not a reality for everyone.
“The last few days have been a humbling reminder that many people do not have the protection or security that so many of us take for granted,” she wrote.
Referencing developments in the Middle East, she said she feels grateful to live in a place that offers a sense of safety, while acknowledging that others are experiencing uncertainty.
“With everything that’s been happening in the Middle East, I am so grateful to live in a place where I feel safe, yet we know that this isn’t the reality for many. Everyone deserves to live in peace and feel secure in their own home,” she added.
Kattan also said she is keeping those affected by the situation in her thoughts and prayers, expressing hope for peace and safety.
“To everyone experiencing the craziness happening right now, please know that I am keeping you in my thoughts and praying for safety and peace for all.”
She concluded by emphasising the importance of community support during challenging moments.
“Moments like these are a powerful reminder of how much community matters, of the importance of checking in, supporting one another, and showing up however we can.”
Her message comes days after her sister, entrepreneur Mona Kattan, also shared a reflective post. She took a softer approach to the situation, shifting the focus away from the fast-moving news cycle toward the power of faith and unity during uncertain times.
In a message shared with her audience, she encouraged people to come together in prayer and support their communities.
“Now is the time to come together in prayer. Let us lift our voices for the safety of our loved ones, our families, our homes, and our communities,” part of her post read.
The posts are part of a wider wave of messages from public figures and influencers in the UAE who have spoken about safety, resilience, and community support in recent days.
Influential voices, including entrepreneur Anas Bukhash and radio host Kris Fade, have also praised the UAE’s leadership and security infrastructure, highlighting the sense of reassurance many residents feel despite heightened regional tensions.
