The popular family destination recently announced its last day on May 11; as Season 29 comes to an end, here are some acts and performances from across the world you shouldn't miss out on.

1. Music release event for Indian film Abir Gulaal

With Bollywood set to release Abir Gulaal on May 9 in theatres worldwide, fans in Dubai can get an exclusive sneak peek into the movie through a musical lens.

Indian composer Amit Trivedi, known for his heartfelt melodies, will unveil his latest musical masterpiece from the film, at 8pm on April 19. But he won' be the only one on stage!

The lead actors from the film, Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor, are set to join the release event.

2. Amr Diab takes the stage

Groove to the tunes of Tamally Ma'ak and Nour El Ain as the legendary singer arrives at Global Village on May 4, 8.30pm. All those who have a Global Village entry ticket can watch the concert for free.

With a dedicated area available for families and ladies, visitors can look forward to a night filled with musical hits from the Arab world.

3. Tribute shows for Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift

Global Village will pay tribute to Taylor Swift and Bon Jovi, capturing the essence of the original artists in spectacular shows.

On April 23, two shows will have Swifties singing along to their favourite songs. With the first show at 7.40pm and second show at 9.45pm, fans can expect to experience Taylor Swift's iconic hits, from Love Story to Shake It Off.

On April 30, from 7.45pm to 9.20pm, visitors can rock 'n' roll to the iconic hits of the legendary Bon Jovi, with a live band playing their greatest anthems from Livin' on a Prayer to You Give Love a Bad Name.

4. America's Got Talent dance group, Bollywood flash mob

Straight from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Malevo brings to the Global Village stage, a fusion of traditional and modern dance.

Beating drums, tap dancing in Gaucho boots, and the mesmerizing spin of boleadoras celebrates the heart of Argentine culture. The group is known from America's Got Talent for their intense, yet rythmic, performances.

But that's not all! When you walk around Global Village, you just might bump into a flash mob! Bringing Bollywood's dance numbers to life with their grooves and impersonations of actors, there's no telling where the flash mob will strike next.

5. Cyber City Danger Zone Stunt Show

Are you a stunt enthusiast? In 'Cyber City Danger Zone Stunt Show', adrenaline-pumping action will leave the crowd in disbelief as the performances unfold in a storytelling format.

Fire, water, air, combat - you name it. The show promises to pull out all the stops to keep the audience on the edge of their seat. The shows will be held every day, except Monday, at 7pm, 8.20pm, and 9.40pm; timings are subject to change.
