Football star Jorginho criticises Chappell Roan's security for harassing Jude Law's daughter
The Italian footballer says one of Roan's guards threatened Ada Law, 11, at a Sao Paulo hotel, leaving her shaken and in tears

Football star Jorginho Frello, best known for his moves in the midfield of a soccer pitch, launched a straightforward attack on the American singer-songwriter Chappell Roan after her security team intimidated his step-daughter.
The incident came to light when Brazil-born Frello, who now plays for the Italian national team, said that his family went through a "very upsetting" situation in a note on Instagram Stories.

"This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited, she even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire. @chappelroan," Frello said in a detailed account that was posted in English and Portuguese.
Frello's wife, the singer Catherine Harding, and their step-daughter were in Brazil for the Lollapalooza Brazil festival. Harding was previously married to British actor Jude Law and the couple share a daughter, Ada.
The athlete has claimed that Chappell Roan’s team mistreated his daughter during their stay at a hotel in Sao Paulo.
"During breakfast, the artist walked past their table," Frello wrote. "My daughter, like any child, recognised her, got excited and just wanted to make sure it was really her."
The footballer claims his daughter didn't even approach Roan and only walked past her table. "She didn't say anything, didn't ask for anything," he wrote. But that was enough to spur a "disproportionate reaction" from Roan's security, he said.
"A large security guard came over to their table while they were having breakfast, and began speaking in an aggressive manner to my wife and daughter, saying that she shouldn't allow my daughter to 'disrespect' or 'harass' other people."
Frello, who plays for the Série A club Flamengo, claims the security said he'd also file a complaint with the hotel, leaving his 11-year-old step-daughter in tears.
Chappell Roan is yet to comment on the incident.
He ended his post by stating that celebrities should "understand the importance of fans".
“At the end of the day, they are the ones who build all of this,” he said. “I sincerely hope this serves as a moment of reflection. No one should have to go through this, especially not a child.”
Although the posts don't mention Ada by name, it was clear that Frello was referring to her.
How is Jude Law linked?
Ada Law is the daughter of Jude Law and Ireland-born Catherine Harding, 36. The two were briefly in a relationship in 2014, according to The Sun, and Catherine turned pregnant soon after; Ada was born two years later. The couple separated soon after.
Catherine was a finalist of the singing competition The Voice UK in 2020.
Jorginho has four children. He shares two with his former wife Natalia Leteri and has a son with Harding, whom he married in 2025.
