Celebrating against the city’s night skyline, Esha shared images from her Dubai outing, with the Burj Khalifa rising behind her and the moon glowing above.

In one photograph, she is seen pointing towards the sky, a moment she captioned with a message for her late father actor Dharmendra,: “Love you, papa.”

The tribute drew reactions from several followers, including actor Bobby Deol, who responded with a red heart emoji.

The post came just weeks after the passing of veteran Bollywood star Dharmendra, who died on November 24 last year at the age of 89. Widely regarded as one of Hindi cinema’s most enduring icons, he is survived by his wives Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, and his children, which include Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Esha Deol.

The New Year carries added significance for the Deol family, with Dharmendra’s final film Ikkis releasing in UAE cinemas on Wednesday
