Did Indian rapper Badshah marry Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi? Here's what we know
Pictures of the nuptials between the two have turned popular on social media

Speculation arose that Indian rapper Badshah has tied the knot with Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi, after a string of pictures and a video of the nuptials were posted on Instagram by the actress' mother.
Neither Aditya Prateek Singh, known professionally as Badshah, nor Rikhi have offered a comment. It isn't immediately clear when the marriage took place.

In the photographs shared online by Rikhi's mother, Poonam Rikhi, Isha can be seen wearing a red bridal ensemble, while Badshah dons a green kurta with vertical stripes in a golden hue.
"God bless you 🙌 🧿❤️ @isharikhi @badboyshah," Poonam captioned the post.
A video shared by Poonam shows the couple exchanging garlands and posing with friends and relatives, suggesting that the wedding may have been a private affair.
If confirmed, this will be Badshah's second marriage. He married Jasmine Masih in 2012, with whom he had a daughter five years later. They divorced in 2020.
In 2024, Badshah was linked to Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, after the two were spotted together at his concert in Dubai. The rapper dismissed such speculation in an interview with the Indian news channel Aaj Tak, saying they were "good friends".
"She is happy in her life and I am in mine," Badshah was quoted as saying by the channel. "Our equation is wonderful, but people often misinterpret it and see what they want to believe."
Controversies and early life
News of the marriage comes at a time when Badshah is embroiled in a scandal surrounding his latest song Tateeree, the lyrics of which are in Haryanvi language.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court granted him interim protection from arrest last week over legal troubles stemming from the objectionable lyrics in the song.
A case was filed after two first information reports were registered in the north Indian state of Haryana over the content of Tateeree, India Today reported. The song is said to feature vulgar lyrics and visuals, prompting the Haryana State Commission for Women to seek his arrest after he failed to appear before it despite multiple summons.
Subsequently, a lookout notice that was issued against him is expected to be withdrawn, the publication reported.
Isha Rikhi made her acting debut in the Punjabi film Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De, Happy Go Lucky, Mere Yaar Kaminey and What the Jatt. Her first Bollywood film was the romantic comedy Nawabzaad, starring Raghav Juyal and Punit Pathak, with cameos by Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.
Badshah belongs to the crop of Punjabi hip-hop stars who rose to fame in the new millennium, such as Honey Singh and Diljit Dosanjh. Badshah's breakout came with the single Saturday Saturday, which featured in the Bollywood romantic comedy Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
His other singles to feature in Bollywood films include Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai from the Sonam Kapoor, Fawad Khan-starrer Khoobsurat, and Proper Patola from Namaste England.
Badshah has appeared as a judge on Indian reality TV shows such as MTV Hustle, Indian Idol, Dil Hai Hindustani, India's Got Talent, and India's Got Latent.
