The security guard who allegedly threatened a fan of Chappell Roan recently at a Sao Paulo hotel, isn't on the detail of the American singer-songwriter.
That clarification come from the singer herself.
"I'm just going to tell my half of the story of what happened today," Roan told on a video posted on social media. "(The) mother and child who were involved with a security guard... who is not my personal security."
Roan's comments come a day after the Brazil-born Italian footballer Jorginho said on social media that the guard misbehaved with his wife, the British singer Catherine Harding, and step-daughter Ada Law, 11. Ada is the daughter of Harding and actor Jude Law.
"I didn't even see a woman and a child. No one came up to me. No one bothered me, like I was just sitting at breakfast in my hotel," the Good luck, babe and Femininomenon hitmaker said, adding she didn't ask anyone to approach the mother and her child.
They did not come up to me, they weren't doing anything. It's unfair for security to just assume someone doesn't have good intentions when they have no reason to believe, because there's no action even taken.
Roan also sought to dispel notions that she hates her fans or children, while expressing an apology.
"I am sorry to the mother and child that someone was assuming something, that you would do something, and that if you felt uncomfortable, that makes me really sad. You did not deserve that."

What did Jorginho say
On Saturday, Jorginho, who plays for the Série A club Flamengo, said his family went through a "very upsetting" situation in a note on Instagram Stories.
"This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited, she even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire. @chappelroan," Frello said in a detailed account that was posted in English and Portuguese.
The athlete has claimed that Chappell Roan’s team mistreated his daughter during their stay at a hotel in Sao Paulo.
"During breakfast, the artist walked past their table," Frello wrote. "My daughter, like any child, recognised her, got excited and just wanted to make sure it was really her."
The footballer said his daughter only walked past her table. But that was enough to spur a "disproportionate reaction" from Roan's security, he said.
"A large security guard came over to their table while they were having breakfast, and began speaking in an aggressive manner to my wife and daughter, saying that she shouldn't allow my daughter to 'disrespect' or 'harass' other people."
Frello claimed the security said he'd also file a complaint with the hotel, leaving his step-daughter in tears.
