BTS heads to Dubai; fans hope for OT7 performance in UAE after a decade

As media reports said K-pop sensation BTS is headed to Dubai, it sparked a wave of excitement among fans who have long waited for a glimpse of all seven members in the Emirates.
Reddit and X were flooded with the visuals of the seven members after they were spotted at the airport in Korea, and Korean media reported they were headed to Dubai. ARMYs instantly picked up on the news, delighted to see the band back in full force after a long hiatus.
Last year, BTS member J-hope delighted faithful ARMY when he arrived in UAE for an Audemars Piguet event. Like any other tourist, he said he was in awe of the Burj Khalifa, and brought back the famous Dubai chocolate.

While some fans and media said that Dubai was a stop on their way to an overseas schedule, other ARMY, ever-hopeful, were filled with anticipation, after nearly a decade of waiting for an OT7 appearance in Dubai.
One Reddit user said: "This makes the comeback feel so much more real now," while another swooned at the band's outfits. Others guessed it was for a MV (music video), and of course, there was the ever-present lingering hope of a surprise performance.
BTS, arguably the world's biggest boyband, is set to release their sixth Korean-language studio album, Arirang, on March 20, 2026. This will be their first comeback as a full group in over three years.

As the tour kicks off on April 9, BTS ARMY in the Middle East will also get to see them live, but in 2027. The exact stops and dates are yet to be revealed; in the meantime, fans have their fingers crossed, hoping that the boyband will make their way to the Emirates, a decade after their 2016 performance at KCON Abu Dhabi.
