Video: Firefighter injured during massive warehouse blaze in UAE

Abu Dhabi - Firefighters, civil defence teams and ambulances were rushed to the scene.

A firefighter sustained moderate injuries while helping to extinguish a fire that flared in two warehouses in Abu Dhabi.
The operations room had received a distress call at 4pm regarding a blaze which engulfed the construction materials and lumber warehouses in Al Reem Island in the late afternoon on Wednesday.
Firefighters, civil defence teams and ambulances were rushed to the scene, as the warehouses contained extremely flammable materials.
The extensive fire was extinguished before it could spread to neighbouring warehouses. 
Abu Dhabi's Civil Defence called for the following of all fire safety protocols and the regular maintenance of fire extinguishers at the premises.
