Photos: Fire razes traditional house in UAE, no casualties reported

Umm Al Quwain - The site was handed over to forensics to ascertain the cause of the fire.

A fire flared at a house in Umm Al Quwain on Sunday morning.
The blaze began in a room of the traditional house located in Hamra 1 at 10.40am. Firefighter teams from Umm Al Quwain's civil defence were dispatched to the scene and evacuated the premises. 
They were able to successfully extinguish the blaze before it could spread to neighbouring areas.
Photographs were published on the UAQ civil defence site, showing two completely charred beds and remnants of a blackened table frame.
The site was handed over to forensics to ascertain the cause of the fire. 
No casualties were reported.
