Car bursts into flames at petrol station in UAE

Sharjah - The blaze completely destroyed the vehicle.

An Emirati man and woman survived a fire that engulfed their vehicle in Dubai.
The blaze happened in Nazwa area in Al Madam as they were refuelling their tank at a petrol station late Saturday evening, according to an Al Roeya report.
Petrol station attendants were shocked when they saw smoke coming out of the tank after they removed the cover to refuel the vehicle. 
A gas leak apparently led to the fire. Attendants alerted the occupants who immediately evacuated the vehicle. 
After switching off the engine, they pushed the car far from the petrol pump and called the civil defence department.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze which completely charred the vehicle.
