Teacher training and curriculum changes coupled with technological advances in classrooms will support a new kind of learning as students are expected to benefit from tablet PCs and wireless connectivity.

During the launch event, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, emphasised that “investment in education is an essential component of UAE Vision 2021.”

“We want to provide the new generations with the skills needed for the future. This is our national duty,” Shaikh Mohammed added, reiterating that investing in people has been UAE’s strategy for the last 40 years.
