According to Dr Omar Hefni, President of University of Dubai, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research accredited the University of Dubai MBA Programmes and the first cohort of MBA will start on April 4, 2010.
“The University of Dubai MBA programme is designed to prepare business leaders and professionals for successful managerial careers in organisations. It focuses on enhancing critical thinking, improving written and oral communication skills, improving decision making in a rapidly changing global environment and reinforces the application of knowledge and skills in problem solving,” said Dr Omar Hefni.
The University of Dubai MBA features four double majors to meet the needs of a variety of professionals. These are: Leadership and Human Resource Management (LHRM), Logistics and Operations Management (LOM), Accounting and Finance (AF), International Business and Marketing (IBM).
The unique features are: double concentrations enhancing employability; high quality integrated curriculum with emphasis on applied learning and research; hands-on simulations in most courses; accredited programmes of International standards; can be completed within 15 months; located centrally with excellent facilities at Dubai Chamber building.
