Dubai — IDP Education, one of the largest student placement organisations, is launching the ‘IDP Middle East Study Abroad Roadshow’ in the UAE. The roadshow will provide students and their parents all the required information about studying in a foreign university. The event is expected to bring in 43 universities from Australia, the UK, the US, Canada and New Zealand.
The roadshow will be held at Le Royal Meridien in Abu Dhabi today before moving to Oman on April 27. The Dubai show was held on Friday.
There are 17 universities from the UK at the roadshow and includes some of the top institutions such as University of Birmingham, University of St. Andrews, and University of Southampton. There are six universities from the US, five from Canada and two from New Zealand. University of Sydney, Monash University, University of Melbourne and 13 other Universities are participating from Australia.
IDP has been present in the UAE since the year 2000 and is operating in the region through a network of over 12 offices across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, in addition to Turkey and Azerbaijan.
“This roadshow is a great platform for students who wish to study abroad,” said Maher El Bakry, Regional Director for IDP in the Middle East. “It’s an end-to-end process where the students and parents are educated and informed about choices they can make to secure a bright career. We help international students gain admission to educational institutions in the main English-speaking countries.
