PACE Education Group was founded in the year 1999 by Dr PA Ibrahim Haji by forming a trust, namely, PA Educational Trust. The first venture was PA College of Engineering (PACE) in Mangalore with four branches of engineering with a strength of 240 students. Today, the cam­pus has 2.61 million square feet land and six branches of engi­neering, four branches in MTech, five branches in research pro­grammes and five branches in diploma engineering.
PA College of Engineering is affiliated to the Visvesraya Tech­nological University (VTU), Bel­gaum and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Edu­cation (AICTE), New Delhi. It is recognised by the Government of Karnataka and certified to ISO 9001-2008. The institution also has postgraduate courses in busi­ness management. Polytechnic engineering is a big attraction of PA College.
The education group is dedi­cated to promote an effective learning environment that en­courages excellence and diversity in thoughts and endeavour. In 2001, the group opened India In­ternational School in Kuwait fol­lowing the Indian Curriculum, CBSE (KG to Grade 12). It then ventured into the UAE by estab­lishing Gulf Asian English School in the year 2002 in Muweilah, Sharjah, educating KG to Grade12. The school's reputation for academics and co-curricular activities has established the im­age of PACE group in the UAE.
India International School, the second school in Sharjah, commenced in 2011 and has state-of-the-art infrastructure with fully integrated smart classrooms.
Further, PACE Group holds majority stake in RIMS Interna­tional School at Kannur, India, which is an investment of about $5 million. It also started a resi­dential school named PACE Residential School for Girls at Manjeri, India. The group is as­sociated with the English Na­tional Curriculum affiliated to Cambridge International Board through its institution, Creative British School, Abu Dhabi, UAE. It recently opened a third school in Sharjah Education Zone, Muweilah named PACE Interna­tional School with all the facilities of a modern education­al environment.
PACE aims to set up more modern educational institutions following high demand from parents alongside the respect and reputation its institutions have gained over the years. It de­livers high standards of educa­tion at a reasonable fee struc­ture, which benefit medium and lower income groups.
