Our Own, DPS winners of quiz at Sharjah book fair
The two-day competition, Literary Quiz on November 10 and General Quiz on November 11, was led by Terry O Brien, language expert, quiz enthusiast and motivational speaker from Delhi.
Sharjah — Our Own English High School (Girls) in Sharjah and Delhi Private School in Dubai won first prizes at the Sharjah International Book Fair- DC Books competition held during the book fair.
The two-day competition, Literary Quiz on November 10 and General Quiz on November 11, was led by Terry O Brien, language expert, quiz enthusiast and motivational speaker from Delhi.
Thirty-one teams took part in the Literary Quiz and Our Own English High School (Girls) in Sharjah won the first prize followed by Delhi Private School Sharjah in second place and Gulf Indian School Dubai in third place.
On the second day, 36 teams took part in the General Quiz that was won by Delhi Private School, Dubai. The second place went to The Millennium School in Dubai and the third place to Our Own English High School (Boys), Sharjah.
