Model UN meet in Dubai school
The School Council of Our Own Indian School, Dubai, will host its sixth United Nations Simulation Conference on October 29.
The conference is an educational activity focusing on civics, communication, globalisation and multilateral diplomacy. It provides the forward thinking, socially conscious student community with an opportunity to step into the shoes of delegates representing their countries at a mock General Assembly, Security Council and UNESCO where each school is represented by three delegates to express their views on global concerns.
The UNSC has been highly appreciated in the previous years and that has encouraged the OOIS School Council to cross the borders yet again and venture into the international arena to invite schools from other emirates and GCC countries.
