Children's council to meet tomorrow

The 14th edition of the Sharjah Children Council (SCC) will convene for their first session on Wednesday at the Sharjah Consultative Council headquarters. The theme of the SCC will be 'We creatively innovate our UAE' and will be held under the patronage of Shaikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
The council consists of 77 children aged between 8 and 12 years, who will serve for a term of two years. The session will host Sarah Amiri, deputy project manager and science lead of the Emirates Mars Mission and 14-year-old Fatima Al Kaabi, best known as the youngest Emirati girl innovator for various inventions.
