As UAE citizens and residents know only too well, when the country you reside in cares for you, you can blindly trust it.

The UAE leadership has reached out to people through a video that asks: Can a person trust a country. Can 10 million trust a country?
We have the answer. It lies in the thoughtful words and purposeful actions of the leadership to ensure the well-being of the country's denizens. It is apparent in the impact that these words and actions have on people's lives.
As UAE citizens and residents know only too well, when the country you reside in cares for you, you can blindly trust it. Doubts may be cast aside when residents are treated as equal partners in growth and development. In the UAE, trust is not requisitioned by those in power, it is delivered through action and care. It is about winning people's hearts and minds. It is about compassionate governance. It is about granting more and seeking less. The UAE is rooted in a culture of trust and its commitment to this virtue is unflinching in the worst of times. Like during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which has shaken a lot of countries' confidence in the present and their future. Not in the UAE, though. For, trust reinforced during such trying times is enduring. It is rock solid. The leaders of this country are keen to let people know that they believe in them. The storm shall pass, and there will be a new tomorrow where opportunity awaits us and must be grasped, together.

When health fails us, the UAE's leadership assures us that they will be by our side. Yes, their trust, commitment and assurance will help ease the pain, but there is more. Stimulus packages for industry and individuals have been rolled out. Drive-through testing centres are being set up, and more than half-a-million tests for Covid-19 have already been conducted in the UAE. There is a reason why the number of cases (300 new cases and 53 recoveries on Wednesday) and deaths remains low compared to some other nations. Every nook and corner of the country is being sterilised to keep the residents safe and healthy.
The UAE leadership is consistently raising the bar when it comes to community health, and their efforts are paying off. The number of infections will drop, this too shall pass. A new world awaits as the UAE distinguishes itself in the county of nations with its humane approach to this crisis that will effectively root out this scourge. Fear shall not prevail, the UAE will ensure that. Simply trust the UAE's compassionate leadership whose actions speak louder than words.
