The witnesses told the police that the suspect asked one of the victims to pay back Dh500 that he gave him last year.
When the victim said he did not have the money at that time, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the abdomen several times.
The other two were also assaulted when they tried to intervene, the police were told.
Brigadier Al Hadidi said that it was unbelievable that someone would kill a person over such a small amount of money.
