DXB said in a statement that airport 'recovery will take some time' after there was flooding caused by rainwater on the runway
A consultant radiologist has sued a private hospital, where she was working, for allegedly not paying her Dh1,040,000 pending labour dues.
In her plea, the Arab radiologist told the Fujairah Labour Court that she had to go through heavy financial and moral losses as the hospital stopped paying her Dh50,000 monthly salary since January 2020.
“The hospital’s management even forced me to work overtime for long hours without any remuneration.”
She added that she tried to settle the issue with the hospital's management but to no avail and therefore, she was forced to file the case against it.
The plaintiff urged the court to ask the hospital to pay her 11-month pending salary, unpaid overtime, end-of-service benefits, and other labour dues.
The defence lawyer argued that the hospital was reeling under huge financial losses because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The court ordered adjournment of the case until further time.
