Though the police didn’t disclose the exact amount of the burgled cash and items, sources said a “large number” of mobile phones were reported stolen.

The first burglary took place in a mobile phone shop. The shop’s owner notified the police about the theft of a large number of smart phones and accessories.

The second burglary took place in a food outlet, where two thieves used a duplicate key to enter the outlet from its main door. A surveillance camera at the shop captured the theft. The video shows two men, who had their faces covered, wearing white clothes entering the outlet. They were carrying a torch and stole the cash in less than five minutes and fled the place.
