Two arrested in Sharjah for theft of cattle, goats

Sharjah Police on Friday arrested two people for theft of goats and cattle in farms in the central part of the emirate.

Col. Harran bin Mubarak, director of central region police station, said they received a large number of complaints from farm owners that their cattle and goats had been stolen from inside the farms.

Police immediately formed a team of CID officers to investigation the thefts.

During intensified investigation and search, the police team managed to identify the suspects and arrested A.K.B., 23, and then after several days arrested M.S.N, who confessed their crimes.

During interrogation they told the police that they had stolen a large number of animals from Sharjah and other emirates.

Police referred the case to public prosecution.
