Eating out, poor hand hygiene and erratic weather may be among causes, say medics
Three Asians are standing trial at the Dubai criminal court after they stole food products worth Dh56,758 from a storehouse in Ras Al Khor, Dubai.
The public prosecution records show that the case dates back to October 18 last year when the worker of the company noticed that the door of the storehouse, which he had closed the previous night, was ajar and its lock was broken. He also found that some products were missing, including 49 packets of saffron spray, and masala powder.
The man called the police, who reached the spot immediately.
They reviewed the CCTV footage and found that the incident happened within a couple of hours after the worker closed the storehouse. The accused used a pick-up vehicle to steal the products. The cops identified the trio and arrested them. After the accused confessed to committing the robbery, the public prosecution referred them to the criminal court for trial.
