Dubai - A gang of six Arab robbers active in different emirates was busted by the Dubai Police. The gang members, who had infiltrated into the country, were engaged in looting abandoned houses, commercial establishments and cultural institutes.

Major-General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police for Criminal Investigation, said a reliable source informed the police about the suspicious activities of the infiltrators. A police team cracked the modus operandi of the gang by analysing the methods its members adopted.

Colonel Mohammed Ahli, Director of Criminal Prosecution at the General Directorate of Dubai Police for Criminal Investigation, said the team recovered the stolen items following the gang’s arrest.
