A shard of glass led the Dubai Police to a gang of four robbers for a crime they had committed over four years ago. The police traced them with fingerprints lifted off a broken piece of glass.
The gang is facing trial at a Dubai court for the crime.
According to public prosecution files, the four defendants had robbed a grocery store in Al Nakheel on November 21, 2016. They broke open the glass door of the grocery and fled with Dh5,000.
The police discovered a piece of glass with fingerprints and identified one of the suspects. On arresting him, he led the police to the other three.
