Man steals construction equipment from his firm, rents it out

Sharjah - The Sharjah Police have arrested a 45-year-old Pakistani for stealing construction equipment from the contracting company he was employed in. During interrogation, the suspect reportedly confessed that he stole the equipment and rented it out at cheap rates. The suspect had been working at the Khor Fakkan-based company for three years and was trusted by the management.

Over 160 scaffoldings and other material were recovered from the suspect.

A source said the company’s management notified the police that construction equipment like power generators and a large quantity of marbles were stolen from its warehouse.

The police installed a camera at the warehouse and arrested the suspect red-handed.
