A man has been accused of attempting to murder a cyclist in Dubai on Wednesday.
The unemployed 22-year-old suspect had just left a nightclub when a man on a bicycle rammed into his girlfriend and sped off, as per Emarat Al Youm report.
In retaliation, the suspect ran after the man and began to brawl. The cyclist took out a knife and sliced the suspect's hand. He was able to wrestle the weapon from his attacker and stabbed the cyclist multiple times.
When a crowd started to form around the brawlers, the suspect ran away.
The cyclist was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police arrested the suspect who was staying at a local hotel in Dubai.
He confessed that he attacked the man while he was under the influence of alcohol.
