His visit to Cairo aimed to salvage stalled negotiations mediated by Egypt, Qatar and the United States to end the conflict
Dubai — A 32-year-old Emirati man was referred to the Court of First Instance to stand trial on the charge of molesting a 23-year-old British woman visitor in his car.
The accused was allegedly fondled the woman’s breast. The incident allegedly happened in September this year when the woman reported to the Dubai Police that she was in company of the accused, identified as H.M.R, an employee, in his car near The Dubai Mall. She said they were engaged in a friendly talk in the car, but when she bent down to pick something from her handbag, she was shocked by the accused fondling her left breast. She got angry and pleaded with him to let her be dropped in Al Barsha area where she got off the car and called the police. The prosecution charged him with forcible molestation and referred him to court. — salah@khaleejtimes.com
