Hamad pardons 47 prisoners
His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has ordered the release of 47 prisoners of various nationalities, who had proven their eligibility for the amnesty, from the Penal and Correctional Institution in the emirate.
The move comes in line with the Ruler’s keenness to give them a chance to begin a new life and ease suffering of their families on the occasion of Eid al Adha. Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanem Al Ka’abi, General Commander of Fujairah Police, paid tributes to Shaikh Hamad for giving a new chance to the pardoned prisoners to become good citizens and reunite with their families.
