The court found 26-year-old S.G.A., a GCC national who has a criminal record, guilty of causing damage to the private property and burglary.

The incident happened in January this year, when the Fujairah Police were informed by the person in charge of the cafeteria that someone had smashed the lock of the outlet’s door and decamped with Dh250 and 20 telephone prepaid cards. After examining the scene, the police checked the footage recorded by the surveillance camera in the cafeteria. It showed the accused stealing the cash and phone cards. He was arrested later and referred to the Public Prosecution.
