Fire in car doused
A car went up in flames on the Jumeirah Road and the Dubai Civil Defence was able to contain it despite onlookers restricting the free movement of the Civil Defence and police cars.
The Dubai Civil Defence said they quickly intervened to control the fire. An eye witness said the driver left the vehicle when the fire started. Officials arrived on the scene and quickly put out the fire.
Meanwhile, two people were injured in a collision that took place in Dubai Marina on Saturday.
A car driver jumped the traffic signal and hit another car. The two drivers sustained moderate to minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
