The court acquitted another Asian, S.M. aged 23 years, of possessing drugs, but fined him Dh20,000 for driving under the influence of narcotics. It also acquitted 21-year-old A.K. of possessing drugs and sentenced 26-year-old H.A. to one-year jail term for taking Tramadaol pills. Both of them are Asians.

According to the court records, the Fujairah Police were tipped off in March this year that A.H. was selling drugs and making it easy for youths to get narcotic substances. He was placed under surveillance and when he was detained after a sting operation, he appeared to be not in a normal condition. He was subjected to a medical examination and the tests showed that he had taken the banned Tramadol pills.

During interrogation, he confessed that he had sold drugs to S.M., A.K. and H.A. who were arrested. — news@khaleejtimes.com
