Dubai — Doping drugs worth over Dh100,000 used to improve one’s performance in sports have been seized by the Dubai Economic Development Department. The seizure was made during a joint inspection campaign with the General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare, and the National Committee for the Combat of Doping.
The seizure was made from a number of sports clubs in Dubai.
Mohammed Lootah, Executive Director of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector, said the department is keen on ridding the local markets of products that are harmful to public health.
