Delivery boy killed, another injured in accident
A 19-year-old Pakistani delivery boy died on Tuesday after the car he was travelling in crashed into an electric post.
His colleague, who was also in the same car, was seriously injured in the accident, which took place in the Sharjah Industrial Area 13.
The accident took place when the two boys were speeding to deliver food.
The driver identified as A.M. lost control of the vehicle which crashed into an electric pole.
The police said they received information about the accident and the Anjad patrol, traffic police officers and ambulance rushed to the site.
The injured boy, a Pakistani national, was shifted to Al Qasimi Hospital where he was admitted in the ICU.
The official said the case is handed over to industrial area police station to complete the formalities and hand over the body of the deceased to his family.
