Dubai — A 24-year-old Filipino visitor faced charges on Tuesday in the Court of First Instance for allegedly seducing a Turk student on a social networking site and luring him to have sex with him.

The Filipino, identified as F.B, is also accused of cross-dressing and booking a hotel room in the name of his cousin by using her passport.

The Turk student, M.D 20, is also accused, along with F.B, of having consensual sex.

The incident allegedly took place on April 21.

F.B admitted during the investigations that he was promoting himself as a woman on Facebook and offering his services (sexual).

He admitted that the seized amounts of money were the revenues of paid sex with men from different backgrounds.

M.D is also facing a charge of physically assaulting F.B with the help of another accomplice, identified as O.I., referred to the Juveniles Court. M.D is also accused of stealing, together with O.I., Dh40,000, $16,00, 2,000 Saudi Riyals, 1,000 Euros, two passports and a mobile phone from F.B.

M.D confessed that he had sex with F.B. prior to the theft and assault incident.

F.B said during the public prosecution investigation that on the day of the incident he received a phone call from O.I. “He offered to have sex with me for Dh1,500. We agreed that he will come to my hotel room in Al Barsha at around 4.30 pm.”

But O.I. arrived at 6pm. “He showed me an ID alleging that he was an officer from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and accused me of possessing cocaine. He said that he needed to search for it in the safe.”

O.I.’s claims made F.B. suspicious so he tried to escape from the room but was surprised when M.D, who was standing behind the door, pushed him inside. Then the duo tied F.B up and pushed on the couch. They beat him up and tried to force him into telling them the secret number of his safe.

M.D then covered his face with a pillow and a blanket to force him to disclose the number but F.B somehow managed to crawl to the door and scream for  help. The pair then fled with the safe, along with other belongings of F.B.

F.B later found out that his phone and large amounts of cash were missing too.

A police corporal quoted M.D as admitting to having assaulted and robbed F.B.

O.I. also admitted to the corporal that he had impersonated as a CID officer and had assaulted F.B. He also confessed to stealing cash and other belongings from F.B.

Some of the cash and two Filipino passports, a small safe and a bag belonging to F.B. were found in M.D’s place.

The next hearing has been set for June 23.
