The Dubai Police have arrested a young man who filmed himself violating a government order to avoid public spaces.
The youth - said to be a European - posted the video in which he is seen at a beach, ignoring the instructions of a police patrol and "mocking the precautionary measures" issued by health authorities.
UAE issued an order on March 21, closing certain public places, including beaches from Sunday, and urging residents to avoid public places to contain the Covid-19 spread.

The police warned that those violating laws or instructions issued by law enforcement authorities will be held accountable and legal action will be initiated against them.
