Businessman held for drug smuggling
The Ajman Police has arrested an Arab businessman for smuggling and consuming hashish that he stored at his company in Ajman.
One and a half kilograms of heroin and hashish were found in his possession in addition to 75 drugs capsules.
Colonel Saeed Humaid Nasser, Director of the Anti Narcotics Department at Ajman Police, said that the department received a tip off about the illicit activity. During interrogation, he confessed that he was using drugs and that he was planning to sell them. He confirmed that he had smuggled the drugs.
The suspect has been detained to be referred to Public Prosecution.
