61-year-old dies in car-truck collision
A 61 year-old Pakistani died on the spot following a collision between a heavy truck and a car at the Mohamamed Al Midffa roundabout early on Tuesday.
The man was driving the car.
When a police patrol reached the accident site, accompanied by an ambulance and traffic experts, they found the man had died. His body was taken to Al Kuwaiti Hospital morgue.
The police said the accident occurred due to overspeeding and inattentiveness while driving.
Officials said drivers should follow regulations and not drive fast, especially when manoeuvring roundabouts.
