3-year-old playing with matches burns to death in Dubai

Dubai — A 3-year-old girl burned to death while playing with matchsticks recently, a Dubai Police official has said. According to the source, the child was playing alone in the courtyard of her house, when her dress caught fire. According to Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed, Head of Fire Checking Section at the General Department of Forensic Evidence and Criminology of the Dubai Police, if left unsupervised, children aged between 3 and 7 years are likely to cause fires due to their lack of awareness and love of experimenting.
