They dismissed Sahir Chemicals to 108 and knocked off the winning runs in 13.1 overs for the loss of the opener Kashif Mahmood’s wicket.

Aslam Khursheed gave Abu Dhabi Gymkhana the perfect start by claiming two wickets in two overs with just three runs on the board. Hafiz Mustansar (23) and Abdulla Mazhar (44) did a repair job with a 50-run stand for the third wicket but a double strike from Asif Ghouri triggered the collapse.

Saqib Shah led the run chase with a top score of 41 not out. He shared a 54-run stand for the opening wicket with Mahmood (36) and 58 with Haroon Iftikhar (28 not out) for the second wicket without being separated.

Shah’s 42-ball knock contained five hits to the fence and one clearing the field, and Iftikhar faced just 13 deliveries and hit two fours and a six.

Brief scores: Sahir Chemicals 108 all out in 22.1 overs (Hafiz Mustansar 23, Abdulla Mazhar 44, Aslam Khursheed 3-21, Asif Ghouri 2-18). William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana 112 for 2 in 13.1 overs (Kashif Mahmood 36, Saqib Shah 41 not out, Haroon Iftikhar 28 not out).
